In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Food and Drink category on iOS in Greece saw interesting trends among the top applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more had a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting from about 7.8K at the beginning of October and decreasing to around 5.2K by the end of December. Despite this decline, weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 245K mid-November and ending the quarter at approximately 211K.
efood delivery: food, grocery experienced a slight decrease in downloads from 5K to 4.6K over the quarter. However, its active user base showed a strong presence, reaching a high of 428K in early December before settling at 343K by the end of the year.
BOX showed an upward trend in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 4.1K in the week of December 16. Weekly active users also saw an increase, reaching approximately 93K in the same week, before dropping to 82K at year-end.
McDonald’s app downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, starting at 2.1K and ending with 3.1K downloads. Active users remained stable throughout, with a slight increase from 31K to 36K.
Finally, ΑΒ saw a modest increase in downloads during December, peaking at 1.5K, though it ended the quarter with slightly over 1K downloads.
